The Purposeful You x Love Co. Ceramics Blueberry Spoon Rest
I wrote this blog to give you a little more insight into the meaning of my latest blueberry spoon rest collaboration with Love Co Ceramics. This collaboration is near and dear to my heart as I had the privilege of co-designing the spoon rest with a Canadian potter and bringing the garden touch to the kitchen. When Bri from Love Co Ceramics agreed to a collaboration, two things came to mind. One, I can share the love of Bri’s brand with you and two, I can inspire you to shop small and intentionally in the home. My goal with this brand is to inspire intentional living inside and outside of the home. Shopping small hand made products that are made with love is truly special. These spoon rests are certified non toxic and lead free, microwave and dishwasher safe. This spoon rest will be a staple in the kitchen that brings joy every time you cook. Whether it is during your precious alone time or cooking with family and friends nearby, I hope this spoon rest can spark happiness when you are in the kitchen. Blueberries bring a cottagecore aesthetic to the kitchen that I also love, it is timeless.
I chose blueberries as this is a family favourite to grow and eat. I remember when my son was two years old picking blueberries in his blueberry PJ’s in the garden before 7am. It was a moment of gratitude as I heard him giggle every time he picked one. It was a moment of simple living amongst a busy world we were living in. I will never forget the feeling. Searching for blueberries in our garden or at grandma’s is a favourite for both my kids and it brings pure excitement. Bringing the garden to table feeling into the kitchen with these blueberry spoon rests reminds me of the precious moments with my children in the garden. I can’t wait to cook more garden to table meals with them. Perhaps a blueberry preserve is next!
