Introducing: My 2026 Seed List

I feel like this is a little late this year but I know a lot of you are in planning mode. Better late than never to guide you! I am beyond excited to get back into the garden and greenhouse for another growing season. I have my go-to varieties, but I also love trying new things too (like artichokes, luffa and more!) If you’re wanting to get started, but not sure what exactly you want to grow, I always recommend to grow what you love to eat, and find varieties that are best for the conditions that you have in your space (ex. If you have lots of shade and like salads, growing lettuce, kale, spinach and radishes!). Choosing the right crops is fundamental to having a successful gardening season.

Today, I want to share all of the seeds that I’m growing in 2026! Everything featured in today’s blog is from West Coast Seeds, which I have used for years now. I do also order seeds from other growers, and regularly purchase from local farms as well, but today’s focus is all things West Coast Seeds!

Flowers

In 2026, I’m going to be continuing to include a combination of annual and perennial beneficial flowers in my garden beds, which include calendula, nasturtiums, marigolds and more. Many of these flowers help to bring in pollinators, and keep unwanted pests away –I highly recommend that any veggie gardener includes some of these in their garden too! Here are some of my favourites:

In addition to these flowers, I’ll be continuing to grow other flowers for bouquets such as dahlias, yarrow, snap dragons, veronica and other cosmo and zinnia varieties.

Vegetables & Herbs

Every year, there’s a selection of vegetables that I continuously grow because our family loves to eat them, and we know that they are successful in our garden. Some of these include Picolino Cucumbers, Sweet Million Tomatoes, Alderman Tall Telephone Peas, and Nantes Coreless Carrots. Here is all of the veggies & herbs I’ll be growing in 2026:

This is my entire list of my 2026 veggie and flower seed collection! If you want to shop all of them at once, West Coast Seeds has created an entirely curated section of all of my go-to seeds so you can shop them all in one place here! Let me know in the comments what you’re growing in 2026.
